Tori arranged herself comfortably on the pillow. It was a little embarrassing to be sitting at Ian’s feet, but one look at Brianne and Lisa told her Nate and Conor wouldn’t think anything of it. Brianne was dressed in only stockings, garters, and high heels. Her wrists were clipped to her collar, but she gave Tori an encouraging smile. Lisa, on the other hand, couldn’t smile. Her mouth was stretched wide with what looked like a huge ball gag. Her wrists were clipped in front of her with a chain leading down to manacles on her ankles. She was being led by a leash attached to a wide, black leather collar. Lisa’s head was bowed, her eyes trained on the floor.

Nate took a seat, tossing a cushion on the floor for Brianne. He stroked her hair and whispered something in her ear, making her smile. It was easy to see the love between the two of them. Nate worshiped Brianne. Conor also sat, tugging on Lisa’s leash. She knelt between his legs, facing him, but her head down. Conor grimaced as he patted her head gently.

“Please excuse my slave’s anti-social behavior. She is on punishment right now.” He looked down at his wife with an indulgent smile. “My slave needs to learn to curb her tongue. Until she does, she’ll find herself gagged and chastised. Ian, may I address your slave?”

Ian’s hand caressed her hair. “Yes, you may. Tori, you may speak to Conor.”

“Tori, how are you feeling after what happened last night? This question is to both of you, I guess. Have they found the guy who did this?”

It was hard to take her eyes off of Lisa, who was being uncharacteristically quiet and meek, but she dragged her gaze away to answer Conor.

“It’s very sweet of you to ask. I feel okay. Just a few bumps and bruises, that’s it. I’m just so grateful Lisa and Brianne showed up when they did.”

Brianne smiled but didn’t say anything. Nate pushed a long strand of auburn hair back from her face and nodded. Brianne leaned down and kissed his foot before turning to Tori.

“I think I speak for Lisa, too, when I say we’re so happy we showed up and scared that asshole off. I hope they catch this guy.”

Tori opened her mouth to answer, then closed it quickly, realizing Ian had only given her permission to speak to Conor. She looked up at him and his smile was warm and approving. “You may speak to all four, well, three of your friends,” he said, giving Lisa a rueful glance. She was still kneeling between Conor’s legs.

“They haven’t found him yet. Ian’s had several cops canvassing the neighborhood, but no one but you two really even saw him. He was behind me and I never got a look at him.”

Brianne’s lips tightened. “I’d like ten minutes with this guy. When I think about seeing you on the garage floor, fighting him off, shit, I get so mad.”

Nate lifted Brianne’s chin to look into his eyes.
